Well everybody here it is. The challenge officially starts on the 12th.

If you need to see the rules, see THIS THREAD.

Participants will be able to post their current (referred to as the "before") pictures now, even though we have a few days until it starts. This will able the participants to get that step out of the way and focus on their plan for the coming 8 weeks.

Progress photos should be posted every Monday following the start of the challenge to show progress and motivate and encourage those participating.

Again, you can use this thread to post your progress, pictures, questions about diet, workout programs, ANYTHING....AS LONG AS IT IS ASSOCIATED WITH THIS CHALLENGE

you know, i have been doing this working out thing for a while, and i dont think it should be a competition, it should just be a self oriented goal, the reward of course is health and strength.
i agree that you should try to gain muscle rather than lose weight tho(128 lb guy)
well anyways heres my stats
age-15
height-6'1"
weight-165.2 lbs
body fat%-6.7
max bench-210
working for more endurance rather than just brute strenght, what good is it to be able to lift a car, if you can only do it once? right?
i figure ill start low with high reps (12-15) and once i am able to do that easily ill add 5 more lbs. then as it gets harder and harder each time ill gradually decrease the weight i add to 2.5 lbs

Alright, since i'm home for the summer and i'm bored as **** i might as well do this.

I'm looking to put on a little muscle.

Age: 19 years
Height: 6'5"
Weight: 175 lbs
Current Bench: 135
Goal Bench: 200
Goal Weight: 185

I plan to go to the gym almost every day, i realize that my goal is a hard one, but if i can do this over the course of this summer, then why not ya know?

OK, here goes:

Just to clarify, I'm aiming for toned abs and legs and a *little* weight loss through exercise and a healthier diet to get back to how I used to be.

Max. Bench: 174 lbs. (6 reps of 150 lbs., the most I've attempted so far, was done last year)

Max. Leg Press: 514 lbs. (2 reps of 500 lbs., again, most I've attempted and was last year)

Other Info: A few failed trips to the gym, I have lost 16 Lbs from not eating fast food from february




The only thing is i have Gcse's coming up and will have to commit some time that i sould be exercising in to them.
