which is the right impendence to set for this combo amp? behind the speakers it's written ""pro performance rated 8 ohm" and by the 2 ohm inputs it reads "minimum amplifiers load 8 ohms speakers output, 50Watts/28 vrms"

both say 8 ohm, but when I bought it (used) it was set to 16, so I guess my seller had used at 16 for 2 years, can anybody clarify me this impedence dilemma please? sorry my ignorance at tube amps, this is my first one ever.

What year is the peavey classic?
Last time I checked (and i'm looking at my 2005 one), it had an an 8 ohm and 16 ohm output, and the speakers were 16 ohm I thought.
But, i'm bad at ohms myself, so i'll wait for someone else to chime in.

it was bought in june 2006, yeah it has 2 inputs for 8 and 16 ohms, but on the stickers stuck at the back of each speaker it reads "rated 8 ohms" but I dunno since there are 2 speakers so 8+8=16 I'm pretty ignorant, I'm a newbie
