Alright so I've been playing for about a year and a half, upgraded from my Starcaster (i know right?) and bought an Epi LP back in February. Now I need to choose an amp to go with it (currently have a 10 Watt Samick) I know I should buy a tube amp, but I'm not sure if I will be able to find a decent one between (about) $200-$300

I was looking at VOX's, Peavey's, or this Blackheart half stack , but I'm not quite a tube amp expert quite yet, so i need suggestions or even a good solid state one you might reccomend. I play mostly alternative (RHCP, Muse, Wolfmother) but I like to get alot of distortion when I'm messing around with metal (Metallica, Iron Maiden, etc). Also would help if it could get a nice bluesy sound (Zeppelin ish). So I guess you could say I need an amp that can handle most genres

Thanks

well, first of all if you want a rhcp-ish tone you wont get it from a les paul
you need to use your stratocaster
and for the amp a vox ad30vt would do or a good peavey amp qould be good too
