Hi guys, i know a guy who is selling an gibson les paul with modified pickups (not sure what make but they are zebras if that helps) for £1000 or nearest offer, i am not too sure what year it is, but i know the finish is natural sunburst (in other words, not laquered), it has vintage tuners but just says gibson les paul model on the headstock.

The guy has loaned it to me for a test run and said if i like it i can have a word with him, i gave it a try today and it is pretty nice but i am not too sure.

Is it a Standard or a Studio? or a Classic?

There are like a billion Gibson Les Pauls that range in price from US$1100 to US$5,000,000.

Zebra just means one coil is white/cream, the other coil is black.

Find out what model the LP is then it would be easier to value.

Yeah i know that there are many makes of zebra pickups, i just thought describing it cosmetically may help track down what it is, i'm pretty sure its a standard because i looked on the gibson website and it looks almost the same (besides the finish) but i'll try and find out from the guy.
