can anyone direct me to, or post the music or tab to the classic ending riff of most older blues songs???

Its the one that sounds as if it is "descending" a scale and is heard in many popular blues recordings

check the ending of Roadhouse blues by the doors. Might be what your talking about.

first thing that comes to mind is the ending of 'teenagers' by my chemical romance, not that i like em, but i just read that article on the UG homepage.

Here's one I use a lot:

e|
B|
G|------10-----10--9-----9---8-----8---7------------------6
D|8---8-----8----------8---------8-----------------------7
A|----------------------------------------------6---7---8
E|

let the notes ring together as much as you can.

Yeah, it's called a turnaround. Listen to my song on my profile called 'Long Gone Blues' I have quite a few turnarounds in there if I remember correctly...
Ticking away the moments that make up a dull day
You fritter and waste the hours in an offhand way
Kicking around on a piece of ground in your home town
Waiting for someone or something to show you the way

I usually end a blues song with something like this:
e|--7--------------------------------|
B|-----10-7--------------------------|
G|----------9-7h8-----------------2--|
D|----------------9---------------1--|
A|-------------------9-8-7\5------2--|
E|---------------------------7~------|

With a good bit of vibrato on the last chord, and sometimes sliding the same shape down from the fret above. Cheesy, I know, but it's bluesy.

Robert Johnson started a lot of his songs like this (excuse the poor tabbing to come )

In E for example:
e-15-15-15-15-15-15-15-15-15-15-15-15-
b---------------------------------------------------
g---------------------------------------------------
d-15-15-15-15-14-14-14-14-13-13-13-13- Then finish on a B7.
a---------------------------------------------------
e---------------------------------------------------

It's piss easy.
