I didnt find F.E.A.R that scary. You might want to try condemned 1 or 2. I just played the demo for 2, and it was pretty scary.

The original Resident evils (1, 2, 3)

Kick the arse out of 4.

But they're not scary >_>
However, knowing Nemesis could show up at any time and 1 hit kill you is quite a thrill.

Agreed, I have Penumbra: Overture (#1) and Penumbra: Black Plague (sequel), they are both very good games, although there there is not really any combat, i guarantee it will make you think much harder then any other game you have played, especially #2.

FEAR has a couple of expansion discs out.

I have/beat both expansion sets. I'd say if you really liked F.E.A.R. get them, or get F.E.A.R. files (both on one disc) if it's out for PC, I have it for 360. The first one Extraction Point, in my opinion is scarier then then original. There's more blood/team mates dying, and just more of an uncomfortable atmosphere in general. So when the jump outs do happen, you're softened up.

The other one, Persues mandate, I didn't find as scarying as the other 2, however there was one scare scene in it that scared me more then anything in the other games, but overall it's less scary. More action.

Bioshock fo' sho'. Very psychologically scary.

I dunno if they're on the PC, but condemned 1 and 2 are scary as hell. I jumped quite a few times playing them.

Really? I honestly didn't find it that scary, just kind of "weird" at some points (to say the least).

Try watching Flight of the Living Dead. Think Snakes on a Plane but with zombies and no bad ass Samuel L. Jackson to shout them into submission. It actually stopped scaring me once the claustrophobic effect wore off but at first I was terrified.
