i have the digitech metal master, and my little crappy practice amp.

is it "safe" to put the distortion on my amp on, and also use my pedal at the same time? or will it blow up? not literally, of course...

thanks in advance for any advice

It's safe, but it will more than likely sound terrible. Give it a try at a low volume and see what you think. It'll probably be really hissy and noisey...

Yeah distortion on top of distortion does not sound great, unless you are aiming for a different sound.

thanks supremacy, and it sounds rather hissy, but ill experiment a bit

EDIT: interesting. i turned the level on my pedal down, and the hissing went a bit. it actually sounds quite good, too...

My first amp was a Roland Cube 60 with the Metal Master on the clean channel and I STILL think it sounded awesome. My friend has my old stuff now and he loves it. That Metal Master is a fun pedal. That "morph" knob rules.
