Try the ToneportGX from line6. It bypasses your stock sound card giving good quality and with Gearbox you can use the amp and FX but I suggest getting Amplitube since gearbox really didnt impress me with its distortions when I reviewed it.

The GX sells for around $70 but is currently on sale for $50 here:
