hey, UG. it's me again.

If i like a certain guitar a company makes (for example, the three pickup les paul custom from epiphone or the epiphone bullseye zakk wylde les paul), but they don't make it lefty, how would i go about obatining one ? do i call the company and custom order it ? how much more would it cost ?

Short Answer: You Don't.

If you want one custom made it will cost you ridiculous prices (especially from Fender and Gibson)

check out some smaller companies, like Carvin, Hamer, Schecter

If you want a guitar like that lefty then yes you are gonna have to pay dearly. Just a fact being lefty.
