What do you think of the ways that the human body is portrayed today in society?

I disagree with many of the ways that the human body is portrayed.

prostitution is probably a good example of this.

what i mean is that women and men are often portrayed as sex icons.

this seems wrong to me because even though i love sex, all of this porn, playboy, strip clubs, and a lot of the stuff on tv sends a bad example to the kids today.

then you see 14 year old girls dressing and acting as if they are in their late 20's and having sex as if none of it is a big deal.

i just find it stupid how the media go nuts over a teen pregnancy and fails to see where this has all come from.

I don't think that men are portrayed too badly these days. Women on the other hand is a different story. I find it amusing that 90% of women think that the ideal body image for them is to be six feet tall, a size triple 0 and have DD breasts. This image is only attainable by a small percentage of the population yet 90% of women strive to attain it. Personally, I find a woman attractive if all the parts of her body match the rest (i.e. a person who is a size triple 0 and has DD or bigger breasts does not match, while something like a size 10 or 12 with DD's does match). Thankfully, my girlfriend thinks this too.

On the subject of girls dressing like sluts, I don't really mind. What I do mind is those 300 pound girls walking around in skin tight clothes and those damn tight sweatpants that say words like "juicy" and "Uberslut". Some girls just need to realize that those clothes aren't for them. If a girl wants to go around dressed like a slut, she can, that's the beauty of America. You have the right to express yourself, and if you wanna look like a five dollar hooker, feel free.

I'm sorry if I offended anyone, but that is just what I think.
