The Hellraiser series from Schecter really packs a punch in the heavy distortion department, they are great for all kinds of Metal. Those DiMarzios should even out the tone a little bit, so it would be a pretty well-balanced guitar. I would say yes, that would be a good idea.
Got a question about Baritone guitars? Feel free to PM me.

Thanks to UG, I converted from Metalcore to some "real" Metal.

Personally I'd say blackouts. But it seems that the X2N's trebley sound would balance out the deep mahogany body. I'm sure it would sound good with X2Ns.

Guitars:
-Jackson DXMG (SH-2N, SH-6)
-Schecter Hellraiser C1 (18v)
-Ibanez XPT707FX (Blackouts)
-Ibanez BTB 400 Bass

Main Amp: Mesa DR Roadster

the X2N's are great pickups, I've used them a bunch of times and I find them really nice, I'd go for it if I were you.
