Do ya think music should go under colour discrimination?

Should funk and soul be JUST BLACK?

Should Metal or Punk be JUST WHITE?

Is Reggae an exclusively Nigro Music?

What do ya think?

Please be careful with any racistic comments...
I get pissed very easily...

No, I think anyone should play or listen to whatever they want.

I totally thought this was going to be about associating certain colors with music. Like, certain chords sound 'purple' to me, if that makes sense.

It's obvious that some genres have a more prevalent racial background and fanbase, but it really doesn't matter in my opinion.

i think music is a universal medium i mean who cares what colour skin you got just get along with each other........is it that important that each race sticks with a person from the same race that would just go against Dr. Martin Luther Kings work and we would revert back to segragation. i think a good example of ethnic mixing is in the film Remeber the Titans. let me know what you think of the film if anyone has seen it

Well techniquily (i don't think thats written write) you can't see music you can only see it so it doesn't have a colour.
You may have a 10 x 10 stack of marshalls and i may only have one, but mine goes to 11.... Beat that

I tried to find out what other people think coz i've seen too many racistic comments on TV.
We have a problem in my country with some peoples from certain ghettos being excluded from the industry because of their race.
Equally, many of them hide their race in order to suceed

How exactly would you go about doing that?

I'm not familiar with racial tensions in Greece, sorry.

how about TS has all music that is made by someone of a different colour than him taken away so he cant learn any of it? that might be a good idea.

And just because you're a journalist-in-the-making doesnt mean you should get the pit to get you arguments for an article you plan on writing.

j/k, but this thread will be pretty one-sided.

Trolls try to attack you as much as possible and hurt as much as possible, meaning they'd spell the bloody insult correctly to make it most effective.

TS is from Greece, and "nigro/negro" isn't seen as a racial slur globally, so I'm reluctant to call him out on it.

But really, I think Mask of Sanity has the right idea here.

I'm listening to "Selkies" right now.

Gypsies, who are related to Greekminds as a dirty race, producing awfull music, can be really easily missed, especially if they are second or third generation

It is no problem in Greece to call a black man a nigro.

Nigro=>negro=>Black
Actually, instead of using the greek phrase for blackman, we use "nigro" as a polite way...
#37
Yes, the album Colors by BTBaM has music.
But the answer to the question you're actually asking is much more obvious: NO! How would that be positive at all? Taking away people's music is a stupid and pointless idea, let alone for a reason as retarded as what race it came from.

that's just your opinion... as well as slightly irrelevant. or are you saying all people of that ethnicity make a certain type of music?
also, "racistic" is not a word. I think you mean "racist", but youve said "rascistic" a few times now.

Um, actually, I am Greek. And I believe the Greek word for black is Μαύρος (or Mavros).
I really don't know what the fuck you're on about.
