Just some spacy, bassy music, with some cool samples from various places (metal, Native American ethnic music, funk). A lot of catharsis in here, if you get what I mean by that, and I had a lot of fun making it because it came from the soul, so I hope you can feel that coming through and enjoy listening to it

nice sound padded intro, it run so smoothly together with the guitar but i feel the snare is making a to quick of feel to the song as it seems like everything that is underlayed is slow, and the snare covers to much to fast

is everything sampled, or was some sections created.

overall there are some good themes in it and for that well done

it is very eerie and u have pulled that off well. if u want u can check out pac-metal

or one of my ambience sort of tracks, dark side of truth or this time

yay, to mastabassin music.

haha.

i like that guitar riff. did you actually record that or is it sampled? i like the keyboards...very atmospheric.

bass was excellent. kind of jazzy actually.

i like the second part that comes in with the flute sound and the bass. cricket sounds were a nice good. then you kind of melded parts one and two into three.

part four with just the bass and the new drum beat was my favorite. very cool.

i thought the drums could have been a bit more powerful.

but if this is what your soul sounds like, then you've got a beautiful soul.

I tried to make the snares and kicks really offbeat so they didnt sound as snapped to the grid, but yeah, they did give an odd feel to it. Most of its written, by the way, the flute is sampled from an ethnic music CD and the guitar is sampled from an Opeth song. The drums from a james brown song, then I cut up the loops into indivdual hits, processed and re-arranged.

Thanks, I covered your instrumentation questions in the first response.
And I'm very flattered

I'll listen to you both as soon as I can

A very minimalist piece. I'm liking the guitar chords. I think the key's sounded very 'off' at first, but then again, it did add to the atmosphreric feel of the track. Drums sounded great! Works well with this style of music.
Good stuff! I can imagine this being in a matrix soundtrack.

Here's my stuff if you wanna listen;
