Thats the third one on my 12string so far.

Time to put a decent set on, methinks.

I'd managed to go a few years without breaking a string, somehow, and in the last few months I've broken 4.

I have on my proper acoustic, but the e still snapped.

The 12string was new as of a few months back. But it was only about £100 new, so the strings are as cheap as they come.

I have a set of Rotosound Phosphor Bronze's for the 12 string. Not my ideal choice, but they were free.

Epic restringing, here I come!

I've always been happy with any Rotosound strings I've ever bought.

Fair enough. I've only had one experience with them so far, and thought they were mediocre...

I'll see how this set last then.

Elixirs are awesome.

+1. I always used to go with ernie balls but I decided to see what the fuss was about with these elixirs, the tone lasts so much longer with elixirs.

yeah, strings do kind of lose most of their tone after a month or so. Still, I hate cheap guitar strings as well, the reason why I use Elixirs
