I'm not sure where my exact 4 month marker woulda been at, but the first song I learned the most of was Incubus - stellar and Blink 182 - Adam's Song.

Now i can play those, plus some master of puppets, some killswitch engage - my curse, working on some lamb of god - laid to rest, stuff like that. Gonna try and learn Trivium - Like Light to Flies next. I usually don't finish learning a song either lol.

I'm nine months in and I can now play through all of Seek and destroy (minus solos), Megadeth - Trust, Bon Jovi - Runaway and a million parts of other songs... I switch between songs that are too difficult for me so that I learn new things, and the three above which are my comfort songs when I feel like I can't play for ****.
