I know it's done to death, but go for the Digitech Bad Monkey. The Screamin' Blues seems a little lifeless to me. The Blues Driver is a tricky one too, I consider it a useless piece of s**t but there's tons of guitarists out there who'd swear by it.

Some form of Tube Screamer is the way to go, but the Ibanez reissues just aren't worth the extra cash when there's so much else out there of equal or higher quality..and that's where the Digitech steps in. I reckon it's going to be seen as a classic, simply cause it does the job well, and is cheap (just like the original Tube Screamer)...

I was quite impressed with the Screamin Blues.
It was one of my favorite overdrives in my arsenal, before selling most of them out. I didn't think it was lifeless at all. It was actually one of the thickest overdrives i've ever played.
I'd go and try them all out at a store.
