No, you're not allowed to use a different brand head and cab.

^ Helpful lad you are.....

Don't see why they wouldn't work together, so long as the ohm's match. Vintage 30's in the Orange will sound lush.

no he's right, the fender is US while the orange is UK, the power ratings is different beyween the two countries. if you use them together it will cause a misload and totally fry his amp

K I'm going to go try out the cab at a store.

I don't know why I bought a head without a cab in the first place...

As long as the head is able to run at 16 ohms it will work just fine.

You also need to be able to hand the wattage of the amp. While you can have a slight mis match and push the speakers, on one speaker it's often not a good idea.

Match the ohms, and stay under the max wattage of the cab.

Why did you buy a $1600 head and no cab? that's a little amusing.

As long as the OHM and wattage match it should work.

The store I purchased it from only had the head in stock, and so much people were looking at it, so I jumped on it and bought it.

So now I have a $2000 head sitting in my basement with no cab .

I'm going crazy, if I don't get a cab this week I'm gonna slit...
