I've always heard this and wondered what's really happening.

You all probably know what I'm talking about. When you're standing there, minding your own business, and all of sudden you go cold. A chill runs up your spine and you shake a little. Then, just as quick as it came, it's gone.

The whole ordeal lasts around 3 seconds. It's nothing major, and whenever it happens to me my mother tells me that, "someone just walked over your grave." (she's superstitious)

Anyone know what causes it?

Duh.

But no I don't know what causes it. Maybe you feel so good or something that you get shivers.

how can someone walk over your grave? People these days get buried in cemetaries and unless theres a million guys running around in a cemetary....maybe when someone walks over the spot the very second you die.

Damn, I must've been buried under a sidewalk in downtown New York.

WRONG.

The only reason it exists is because drugs get people fucked up, and people love getting fucked up.

That happened to me as I was taking my photo at the DMV. To make matters worse, I had to have my hair pushed back. In the end, it looked like someone had slapped a photo of Charles Manson on my permit.

To everyone debating how someone can walk over your grave:

I know that it's bull****, I was wondering what ACTUALLY causes these little "twitches."

damn that's not nearly as cool as the parallel universe explanation... so I'm gonna go ahead and not believe this and stick with the parallel universe theory.
