Normally when I fret with my right hand the shoulder extends a little so that the pick and strings are aligned. I have long arms so i have to bend my arm quite a bit to align the strings and the pick. However the weight of having to hold my arm up for 2-3 hours is making my shoulder very tired. Normally i use the muscles in my arm to hold up my arm but i've been practicing to losening them and just focusing on my wrist. But a consequence of keeping my right arm loose is that all the weight has to be held up by the muscles in my shoulders.

What can I do I have long arms and playing while I sit down wears out my shoulder.

Should I just stand and practice. That feels alot better because my arm can just hand in the air.

Either play standing up with the strap lowered, or don't play for over 100 minutes without taking a decent break, lol.
