just aksing for a little advice . currently playing a Emily Strange Epiphone G-310 Guitar through a vox 15 valvetronix.

not happy with the sound on the default pickups.

Music style i play is blues through to heavy metal gegerally in standard tuning.

on a budget really so if any body could advise any decent pickups under $200 for the 2 (humbucker bridge and neck) would be greatly appreciated

THANKS

Upgrading your amp would make a much bigger difference than upgrading your pickups. Try saving some money and getting a better amp, and then change your pickups if you have to.

any amp advice then please?

only really for practising so i dont need anything to loud (hence why i got the vox but i kinda regret it now)

To be honest, it'd be more of a step sideways than forwards to upgrade your amp at this point, the only thing I can think of is the Roland Cube, which is the same standard quality wise as the Vox, just geared a little towards the heavier end of the spectrum.
A dwarf might hear you. What then?

Yeah, $200 isn't a lot to work with, so I would suggest saving your money and deciding later.
