So my band is getting bigger...Ben Kasica(Skillet) contacted us about coming to Wyoming for recording, we have another guy wanting to manage us, and we have connections all over the place, but our gear leaves something to be desired. We simply don't have the gear to do it. The obvious thing to do is pool the money from shows/extra cash and upgrade one thing at a time, but we're not sure what needs the most help. I think the guitarists' amps need the most help, bot one guy thinks it's the drums and another thinks it's my bass. (not the amp, the bass )

tl:dr the band needs new stuff...what to get? Figured I'd get UG's opinion.

Here's the rigs we use:

Lead guitarist:
2 A/E's, one Samick and one Washburn
Schecter C-1+ Diamond series
Boss ME-50
Roland Cube 60

Rhythm guitarist:
Les Paul Studio
Alvarez strat copy
Fender 12-string
Tonebone Hot British
Crate SS 212 combo...not sure about wattage. Fairly old.

Me(bass):
Squier modified MB-5(gig-worthy)
Greg Bennett AB-2
Access to an Ibanez GSR200 (meh)
Ibanez PD-7
Access to Peavey Mark III with SWR 210

Drums:
mid-low range mapex drum kit
Mapex double bass pedal
Remo Pinstripe heads
Access to several Sabian AAX cymbals

Access to an 800-watt PA system if we really need it
Nope, no sig here.

First - YOU PLAY WHATEVER INSTRUMENT YOU WANT. If you're happy with your Squier, then you play that damn thing.

As for your question, I'd say drum kit, then guitar amps.

EDIT: Although obviously, I don't know the condition of your kit.

DON'T MAKE ME DESTROY YOU!

I'll tell them someone said that

The kit's the rhythm guitarist's...it's in good shape with middle-aged heads
Nope, no sig here.

In that case, it may be worth going heads, amps, then drum kit if that's neccessary. Just try to think about what gear is causing you the most trouble.

What style of music are you lot playing?
And I'd upgrade the drums.
Chances are, the recording studio might have some amps lying around anyway. If not, upgrade the amps, and you're set.
Signatures are overrated.

I'm pretty sure the crate is a G212...just googled it

So fix up the drums first, then the amps?

edit: profile, 3rd song. Mixed horribly and we sucked it up but that's pretty much our sound. (if you had seen the way we recorded that, you'd understand. And laugh. I do every time I think about it )
Nope, no sig here.
