What type of program, aside from GP5 or PowerTab, would I need to transcribe sheet music for a Cello into Guitar tabs?

I know this is the wrong posting section, but nobody else would answer me.

You just eliminated the 2 best programs, so I'd say Finale.

So Finale is the program to use? I'm currently at school and I don't have access to my copys of GP5 or PowerTab.

Can you not use a midi-converter for the chello music then use an online converter?

I've used a few and they are out there if you look hard enough for good ones.

Is there any black people on UG?
I don't think a lot of black people play guitar anymore.

The thing is, I don't have an actual copy of the file on my computer; I have a copy of the sheet music in front of me.

Do you know if I can insert music notes and it will turn them into guitar tabs?

i don't think so, but powertab is free anyway so just use powertab.

if you know that 0 on the tab is eadgbe then you can just work it out for yourself.

C on sheet music is the note underneath the main stave with a line through it, then it goes up as in d,e,f,g, etc. It's not that hard to work out.
