Ok, I'm just a big crybaby at heart, but had to share my pain with the world.

Anyway. My tone knob got loose and fell off, no damage to the screw or knob...fine, I'll just screw it in. Like I have loads of times.

So, guitar across my desk, with the window open: Suddenly, the essay I'm partway through writing gets caught by a gust and blown off the table. Instinctively, I reach out to grab it, and look back at my guitar to find I've scratched a pretty white line across my perfect glassy finish, when I jerked my body to grab the paper.

Moral of the story: **** essays, my guitar is more important.
