If I had to judge solely on looks I'd go with the RR3.
Have you tried either guitar?

This thread proves Gigatiran is awesome, and a lot more awesome than your average awesome. I bet he even owns a duster like Dennis Reynolds.

No, I don't go to the music store very often.
If someone has a experience with both or at least one please share it

Please get the Jackson. It's made in Japan, has nicer pickups, has a higher quality tremolo and it's available in a lot cooler finishes like Transparent red and black. Plus I think the Ibanez is discontinued.

And do a search on VBT700 if you want some more info.

RR3 fer sure. It's a very nice guitar for the price.
Heads will roll. Throats will be slit. Blood will flow like springs of water.

the ibanez is a neck thru while the rr3 is bolt on. i'd kill for a neck thru right now cos the upper fret access is crappy on my rr3. and the rr3 is neck heavy.

the pickups on the rr3 is way better than the ibanez ones though.

both necks are pretty slim.

the jackson has a decent trem while the ibanez has no trem at all

decide for urself

^ Yes it is neck heavy. A good leather strap would help.

I have an RR3. Its neck is somewhat heavy but you get used to it really quickly. Don't let that change your mind about getting a RR3.

im actually planning to move the strap pins on my rr3 so that the neck heavy problem will be tamed.

should i move the bottom one towards the middle of the guitar more? or move the top one higher?

Mines isn't neck heavy at all, are you using string for a strap?

Now a Kelly is neck heavy.
