so, id like to make a thread about every sweepable arpeggio and the search bar came up with nothing....but i can't - i don't know them all, heres a few i do know which i will post however.
Minor:

|----------------12-17----|----------------13-17----|----------------14-17-|
|-------------13----------|-------------15----------|-------------14-------|
|----------14-------------|----------14-------------|----------14----------|
|-------14----------------|-------15----------------|-------13-------------|
|-12-15-------------------|-12-17-------------------|----13----------------|
|-------------------------|-------------------------|-14-------------------|
rhcpfan27:
|--------------------12-15-12-------------------||
|-----------------12----------12----------------||
|--------------12----------------12-------------||
|-----------14----------------------14----------||
|--------14----------------------------14-------||
|--12-15---------------------------------15-12--||

Major:

|----------------12-17----|----------------14-17----|----------------14-17-|
|-------------14----------|-------------15----------|-------------14-------|
|----------14-------------|----------14-------------|----------15----------|
|-------14----------------|-------16----------------|-------12-------------|
|-12-16-------------------|-12-17-------------------|----12----------------|
|-------------------------|-------------------------|-14-------------------|

you can use any amount of strings from those arpeggios and still have the tonality of them btw.

sorry i dont know anything but triads but i will try and learn more, please post more in tags + what type of arpeggio they are(e.g. maj7th ) and i will quote them for the original post

thanks.

that looks like an alternate picking lick, is there a sweepable version? and i know they don't have to be sweeped but this is just for sweepable arpeggios, or there would be too many

The easily-sweepable version of that arpeggio (G7) is:

e----------------------13-15-19---------
B-------------------15------------------
G----------------16---------------------
D-------12-15-17------------------------
A----14---------------------------------
E-15------------------------------------

or the abbreviated version, in the style of Paul Waggoner:

e----------------13-19---------
B-------------15---------------
G----------16------------------
D-------17---------------------
A----14------------------------
E-15---------------------------

That one totally messes me up.

B -------------14------------------------12-(15)--------------------13----------

D -------14------------------------14-------------------------14----------------
A -12-16---------------------12-17----------------------12-15-------------------
E ------------------------------------------------------------------------------

In order:

Amaj9 (9th is tapped; without the 9th it is Amaj7)

Asus2 (Playing the 15th fret instead of the 12th makes it an Asus4)

Amin9add13 (9th is tapped; without the 9th it is Amin7add13)

These are just a few of my favorites. I might add some more later.
