Hello dudes.

So, my band just finished recording and we have some tracks up. It's the first CD I've done vocals on (not clean vox, teh br00tal ones) and it came out pretty good.

It's the first song, check it out.

Pretty good song, I don't see how it fits the progressive tag though.

It doesn't but we're a progressive metal band, occasionally we just write straight forward metal songs. Check out any of the other songs and you'll hear it.

playing was cool. i really liked that opening riff. the drums could be more powerful. they sound really dry...try adding reverb/overdrive.

vocals weren't very good. the clean ones were really drony sounding. try sing with more air in your lungs. the growl/screams were pretty cool.

i enjoyed the music, but not the vocals.

btw, i'm not really feeling APC as the second most influence for this...haha.

It's not that they're the second most influential, it's just in alphabetical order. You'd also have to listen to all of the songs to have an idea on the influences as a whole.

It's cool, hah. Half of the songs on the CD go over 8 minutes and have tons of feel changes and instrumental breaks, God of Slaves is just the more straight-forward metal song. Also the shortest one by like 2-3 minutes.
