Hey all, sorry if this is the wrong forum...anywho...

I need more music to listen to. All my other stuff I listen to too much.

Bands I like:

Audioslave (and I loved Revalations, so )
Godsmack
Anthrax
Metallica
Megadeth
Avenged Sevenfold (the new album sucks)
Coheed
Killswitch Engaged
Nine Inch Nails
QOTSA
Soilwork
Soundgarden
The Foo Fighters
Red Hot Chili Peppers
Dream Theater

Stuff like that. Yeah, some is a little punky or a little metally, sorry.

Any suggestions, please?

my favorite band as of now: Dirty Americans, straight out of Detroit. Check out their myspace and give a few of their songs a quick listen. who knows, you might like 'em

http://www.myspace.com/dirtyamericans

edit: their older stuff is classic rock heavy metal ish, so you might wanna listen to "no rest" on their myspace. their newer stuff is a tad heavier and but still great in my opinion.

+1. Muse is just awesome, and if you like Coheed, you'll like 3 (Josh Eppard's brother is in 3).

Try some Mars Volta, too.

Hey TS, you might wanna give John Frusciante's solo work a listen to. I suggest the album "Shadows Collide with People". I don't have his other stuff but it's supposed to be good

Well it seems you like a little bit of thrash so I would check out Pantera, it should be in the same caliber of heaviness.
Also one band that I am really liking right now is Symphony X, they are a little progressive because of the centering on technicalness and yet heavy. Check them out too.

Is that a ukulele in your pants, or did you just rip ass to the tune of "Aloha Oi"?

I met Sonic Youth on June 30th, and Mars Volta on Oct 20th.

The Fluid. Or you're not a man.

..They were on Sub Pop, so I fit in with everyone recommending seattle bands.

I love you =] I can't say I was very fond of you when we first started talking because you trolled the hell out of my threads, but after talking to you here I've grown very attached to you.

Yeah, write to my fanclub about it, honey.
