I've been looking for a new guitar and today I got to see this Fernandes Vortex Elite guitar which Im not familiar with...it is not a cheap guitar, so I assume it must be a very good one...has anyone played with one of these before?...Im really interested in the guitar but I've never played one before so I would like to hear opinions about it first before buying...would you guys recommend this guitar over an Ibanez RG-2550z? Is the Gotoh tremolo system good?

Here are the guitar specifications:

Alder body
Bolt-on Maple neck with offset dot inlays
22-jumbo fret Rosewood fingerboard
Gotoh locking tremolo system
Fernandes Sustainer system
EMG 81 humbucker
Gotoh-style die-cast tuners
3-way toggle switch, 1 volume, 1 tone

I would appreciate your response....thanks....

Damn... it looks quite nice. Although a complete ripoff of Michael Amott's signature ESP Ninja. Or maybe the other way around. I'm really not sure.

Either way, go for it. Specs are awesome and IMO the looks are awesome.
Heads will roll. Throats will be slit. Blood will flow like springs of water.

I've always been a fan of fernandez. the emg-81 is quite nice, and not just for metal as everyone says. if you're willing to pay for it, it seems quite nice.
