I recently got my Guitar signed on the front of the body and I was soon recommended to spray it with Lacquer to seal it on.

I was told that I could get it from like homebase or BnQ ect.. but I think there might be more to it than I know of and I don't want to simply attempt it in ignorance cuz I dont want to ruin my guitar.

Could anyone who knows about this kinda thing give me the lowdown on it or a link to a U.K site so I can fully understand what I should do.

--Thanks--

Yeah, I use the Halfords clearcoat. It gives REALLY thin coats, so you can spray a bit on and not see the seam. It's good stuff.

Edit: My suggestion would be to NOT tape anywhere on your guitar, otherwise you'll just get a hard line where the clear coat builds up against the tape. Just be VERY careful with your spraying, and spray thin.. letting it dry between each application.
