yesterday i got a cube 60 and a ds1 from the pawn monster
for $130.
i love the amp,it sounds good all alone. but with the ds1 it sounds
very fizzy. i know i can mod the ds1,but does the cube even need it.
i was thinking of taking it back, and trading it for a metranome.
i play stuf like iron maidon/ozzy/pantara/metalica and quiet riot.
what do you guys think

The DS-1 sounds like it's a bit extraneous at this point, and, if you don't have a metronome, you're really missing out. I feel like the distortion on the cube is better than the DS-1 anyway.

Metronome FTW!

A modded DS-1 can sound great on a lot of amps but it probably won't on a modeling amp. Get the metronome.

Just use the onboard presets on the Cube. They sound better then a DS-1.
