I'm going to say mine would be one with a build-in Fleshlight, so I can f*ck my guitar and play it at the same time.

Mine isn't worth anything, so probably not.

I don't even know how much my first guitar is worth. It's an Ibanez Studio (don't know what year, looks like late 70's early 80's) and it's somewhat dinged up.

Probably worth more to me to just keep it than to sell
#4
Same here. Mine is a crappy Les Paul Special. I'll keep it for the sentimental value though.

Yup, my first (and only) acoustic I sold for £20 (cheap black encore).

Sold my first electric for £15 a few weeks ago (a broken epiphone SG), but I should of got more.

Still have my first classical though

But that'll be replaced rather soon.

Is there any black people on UG?
I don't think a lot of black people play guitar anymore.

they all kinda went extinct after hendrix really.

Needless to say, I lol'ed.

I sold it a year ago xD It was that guitar from the Behringer Guitar Pack (lol). Basically it all sucked so I sold it all to a friend who was back then a real n00b xD I should've felt bad about letting somebody buy that piece of shit xD
#17
My first guitar ever is a Hofner Acoustic that I doubt I'll ever part ways with. My first electric is a Falcon Stratocaster that I'll either put into storage never to see daylight again or customise.

My first guitar is still the best guitar I've ever played. Went to Vintage & Rare, specialist store that deals in (surprise surprise) vintage and rare guitars, mostly Gibson and Fender Custom Shop guitars from the 60's. Safe to say the cheapest guitar they have is £1700, an old custom SG. My £700 Epi Joe Perry LP sounds and played better than all of the other guitars in that store.

I think I really struck lucky when I got this guitar as my first. I'll never be selling it. I plan to one day have it re-finished so it'll effectively then be a new guitar rather than just some Epi signature series.
Yes, I know everything. No, I can't play worth a damn.

It has sentimental value for me so I dont plan on selling it in the future

No

I hadn't played it in a year, so I took in apart to mess around with inside. But one of the frets had gone, meaning on the Low E, the 6th fret was just a duff note.

Though I didn't do my research, I figured getting the fret fixed would of cost more than the money I would get in return. Plus I never played the guitar and it was just collecting dust.

My first post on UG was about that guitar. I'd taken it to school, had the guitar neck hanging out the window, someone slammed the window and it broke one of the tuning pegs!

But it's found a new home, being used for parts for a custom build a friend is making.

I cut my teeth on my brother's Fender Squire and Yamaha Pacifica, but i guess the first guitar I owned for myself was a LTD Viper 400 w/o the FR. It was my first experience with extra jumbo frets, and I have been addicted ever since.

I sold it.

I'd love to. Gas money is gas money
Sweeping is for n00bs. I've moved on to vacuuming. Eventually I'll even try steam cleaning.

Not selling my SG for anything. Its still freakin brutal with its EMGs and incredible setup. I still play it regularly.
Gibson.
#25
Mine was a Fernandes Retro Rocket. I wouldn't sell it for anything. Partly because it's my first one, but mostly due to the fact that it is almost completely covered in stickers.
#26
i cant part with mine. its a 1993 "sunn mustang" hand crafted in china

i still love playing the thing and i've just loaded it with 2 tex mex humbuckers, an 80's fender bridge, and i have some 80's fender tuners to go on too.

once its back in one piece i'll be sending it off to the shop to have a bone nut fitted and a fret dress and setup.

I think that work alone was more than it cost new but i love it and still play it, so thats my plan

heres a pic of it half done- sh*te guitar pRon:

Well considering I got a new guitar about 5 months after my first one, I barely played it. My second one is basically my first as far as sentimental value goes. My cousin is going to by my first one (Squier Strat) for 100.

No, mainly because of sentimental value, but also because it's completely wrecked. Riding it down a flight of stairs like a toboggan, whilst fun, didn't do it any good.

I doubt it. My first guitar was a Martin D-15 that is still my main acoustic. Great feel with the balanced and warm Martin tone.

Probably not, I'll more likely mod it all to hell.
Hey, maybe it'll be a good prepared guitar.

My first guitar actually belonged to my dad. I'd have no problem selling it, really, but it has more sentimental value for him than for me, and he doesn't want to sell it.
The first one I bought with my own money was a Mexican Strat. I'm actually looking to trade it now.

I don't even have it anymore. Cheap First Act Accoustic. Not sure what happened.
