I'm getting a replacement ground wire for my Kramer, because the old one broke (the trem claw yanked and pulled at it over the course of several altered tunings and eventually snapped xD). I'm going out in about an hour to buy it, so my question(s) to you all is/are...

What gauge do I need, or does it matter? (most important)
Any specific brand people like? (I'm getting it at an electronics store)

And yeah, the guy I'm having put the new one in is gonna solder it on the underside of the claw so it doesn't grab. The one that came on it was ontop

It's a piece of wire. As long as it's not hair thin, it will work. Also, doing on the underside of the claw is a pretty good idea. I've heard of people grounding it to the back side too it seems like
