Im looking for an amp with can handle pedals well and can produce nice clean tones. Ive been reccomended Peavys. Thoughts on this? Its only for home use only but it would be cool if it was loud enough to jam with others.

I'd like it to produce sounds like Blur / graham coxon. Some nice distortion would be cool, similar to NOFX although that may be quiet hard to get.

Any suggestions appreciated!

Price : around £150 I suppose but I would push it. Like I said mainly for home use, but jamming would be a huge plus!

Bands: Blur, Oasis, alot of ska e.g. sublime, streetlight. Im gonna be using a telecaster so im using SC pickups. Im aiming for that blur sound really.

I love their sound.

I know I aint gonna get NOFX distortion without Mesa Boogie but anything close to Hefe's sound would be nice...

Maybe the Blackheart little Giant but a tube amp for sure. I would try to save up maybe 300 before buying a good amp.

The Laney VC15 seems really nice.. Bit expensive but I could save! Do you reckon there's a cheaper alternative?
