I have a mic and everything at the house, and want to have a party where theres karaoke.
Main problem; no karaoke machine. I'm not willing to buy one since they're expensive, but figured there has to be computer programs out there.

Anybody know one?
Money is no object.

1.) karaoke is lame
2.) all you really need is a DVD player and a decent stereo
3.) google.

Hmmmm, how about sing while looking at the lyrics in your monitor?
Cheapest way.
Or do that, and use some program to take out the vocals of the song of your choice (don't know if it can be done though)....

Or just google for one...

When I said 'karaoke' this is basically what I meant.
Singing for those who don't know/forgot the lyrics.

Then here we go...
All I would need is to blow up the text huge and have someone scroll as the song goes.
Too bad I didn't think of that before this thread.

Audacity kind of works but it doesn't work perfectly or works in all songs. You can youtube how to do it if you have Audacity
