So I was reading up on the BBE Sonic Maximizer, and it said that it was made, basically, to remove envelope distortion. I've heard these used, and the sound change supports that. (awesome effect, btw)

My question is, since it removes envelope distortion, could you run it after an auto-wha in your chain and have the sound go from normal to awesome when it shifts, instead of tinny to normal? I thought that'd be something interesting to hear...
Nope, no sig here.

The auto-wah wouldn't do anything to make the BBE not work, so no. I don't think they would interact in the way you think. The auto-wah just reacts to the dynamic envelope- it does not modify it. Functionally it does only what a regular wah would to to your tone.
