Hey whats that website that had like a list of keys and the chords that fit in that key and when you clicked it it played the chords sound? Also when you write a song do you write it out with notes on staff paper or just tab it out?

i got those but i'm trying to find that site cuz it told you what chords sound good with each other, like all the chords in each key. It was really helpful but i forgot the url

just use the major scale, I, IV, and V are the ones used the most and II and VI are always minor,

If it's just a progression I write it out, making a note of the key and meter. Anything else I record because I'm too lazy to write.
