i wanna learn to play aces high, but i can never get the tone/sound right to make it sound like iron maiden, and i have adjusted my amp to sound like maiden just like it says in ultimate settings thread, but with a Fender bullet and a drive cd200 amplifier, im really not getting a good sound, is there alternate ways to play it to make it sound better, [the problem is mainly only on the bottom 3 strings]

dude, i see you are a begginer. the best thing you could do right now, as i think you are not gigging or careing much abou tone being digital or whatever like other dudes out there, I reccomend you to get a cheap fx procesor or distortion pedal.

A BOSS DS-1 might do the jod to drive from classic rock to some 80s metal, but not modern metal. Or get the digitech RP-something that has a lot of effects that sound, to some ears, digital and ****ty, but for people who arent into getting that "tube tone", like the normal dudes that go to a gig or your friends, or begginer guitarrists, they are fine.

Just play it your way.

There is no point in doing a cover unless you add a bit of yourself and your playing to it.

So in short, there's no point sounding exactly like maiden. No point reinventing the wheel.

I think you are using your amps dist, that might not be enough for metal. Thats why im reccomending what I told you.

BTW, dont get an overdrive pedal, cuz they are used to overdirve tube amps, and not your SS amp.
