whats the difference between inputs that say "high" or "low"

"high" will give you more output, gain, brightness (possibly)

"low" will give you cleaner, lower output.

No thats about all there is to actually. One is a little louder than the others. I depends on who makes the amp. Some amps will give an extra gain stage to the high plug. Others it just has a different impedence. Some said it was high for passive pickups and low for actives. But I run my actives and passives into the same "high" input jack.
