So I have a mesa F30, which I love
but was wondering out of curiosity,- would it sound good if i got a orange AD30HTC and played them together with a A/B/Y box?

In a SRV thread it says

In this gig, he plays Little Wing with a mix of both Fender and Marshall.

mesa is kinda fenderish with the cleans and
orange is kinda marshallish so...
would it sound anything like that tone?

is there any other way to get something similar?

Cheers

i thought an a/b/y box was where you could switch from one amp too the other?

^ A/B is where you only switch between amp A and amp B. The Y option on an A/B/Y switch allows you to use two amps at once.

The two amps are voiced very similarly. In fact, it's the Mesa that has the more aggressive overdrive. The AD30 is more of a clean/blues amp. It doesn't really have the classic Marshall crunch that I think you're looking for. They may sound very nice together, but they wouldn't give you the wide difference in tone that pairing a Fender and a Marshall would.
You Don't Need a halfstack.

You Don't Need 100W.
