Sennheiser's the best way to go, you can get some HD series for around £30 but....don't expect any decent sound quality. Whenever I used heaphones with amps I find the quality to be abysmal, even with a decent set of Sennheisers.

What do you mean, "normal or amp ones"?

Play a Cort ?

Play with V-Picks ?

Headphones almost always come with 1/4" adapters, so just get the model you want. If not, you can easily get an adapter for less than $2.
