Good pack of strings are D'Addario XL in 10's just felt like adding that. Works great for Metallica. I know

i just use ernie ball regular slinky on my normally tuned guitar, and i use seven string guitar strings without the high e string on my sg for drop b tuning, so yeah just buy regular slinkys

10-52s are good. Nice chuggy bottom strings but you still get a slinky feel on the top. D'addario XL or Ernie Ball are my favourites. Hate Rotosounds.
