If you have could you send me a demo or link to a vid or whatever.

i dont get the point of having emgs in a les
people with large sig's are clearly compensating for something.

i mean, in my experience all you get with EMGs are...EMGs, theyre versitility is lacking and and soul is non-existant. Why would you put a soul-less pickup on one of the most soulfull guitars?

EDIT: unless massive digital tweaking(ie effects and eq's) and stuff that most people dont know how to do is done then its hard to get anything different than just the pickups standard sound. People may say "well so n so uses them on his _ _ _ _ _!" but you must remember that "so n so" probably has some serious money into other parts of his axe/amp/effects. IE David Gilmore

Me too.

Well, I recorded a clip... starts out on clean, goes up to the lead channel...
Keep in mind, I don't know anything that sounds good clean.

I put them in my G-400, but I didn't exactly test the guitar with regular pickups before that. If you do put them in, I highly recommend the 18v mod. It really opens up the pickups and gives them less of a compressed and muffled sound. And what model EMGs are you looking at?

David Gilmore actually said many times that he does not like the EMGs in particular, but he uses them live because they don't hum and go good with effects.

No idea, Gilmore said it, not me.

You could always do the 18 volt mod to GIVE the EMGs more soul
Then there's this band called Slice The Cake...

Bunch of faggots putting random riffs together and calling it "progressive" deathcore.
Stupid name.
Probably picked "for teh lulz"
