This is a song i wrote using alot of different riffs ive come up with in the past month or so. I had to delete the last verse and the outro because my mixer card was full. But this can give you a good taste. Please tell me what you think. or tell me what improvements i can make. this is all instrumental at the moment so what do u think the lyrics should be about?

let me see ur songs...

is one of ur influences jimmy page? cause sounds like it ur a great guitarist man keep it up

Man! this is a frekin awesome piece of musicianship! I love the way the arpeggios tie in so well to the melody, and the dirt on them is well toned. The heavy riff that comes in at about 1:03 was spot on. 5 stars ^-^

crit mine? not nearly as well recorded/composed as yours, but itsa start ahah https://www.ultimate-guitar.com/forum/showthread.php?t=862541

excellent music man. The whole song is such a blast to the past with the whole classic feel to it. The guitar work in places is nearly perfect.
You gonna bark all day little doggie?

Man, if you ever found a singer... I'd come to your show, that's for sure. This is a great piece, man, really. It sounds like that song you put as the last song of your set, to show off the guitar.

nice intro riffage. very chilled sounding and haunting. this would be really cool with some drums. playing was great. nice chorused accents in there. i actually thought there might have been to much distortion on the rythem guitars. it did get a bit muddy. the bass line was actually pretty cool to. very melodic.

the solo was very cool, but the transition to it was a bit awkward. the tone could use some softening. also, some of the bends were deffinately out of tune, but very cool ideas.

hey i liked ur song alot. But it does get a little old halfway through, so i suggest trying to find like a chorus, or something else that u can switch up to or some other variation in chords. I liked the lead rhythym that came in. keep it up!

Cool track....One thing though, at around 1:05 to 1:20 there is too much reverb, seems like some of the guitars are fighting to overtake each other. Guess it's a matter of personal taste though....Anyway nice song and good luck.
#26
i agree about what someone earlier said about the out of tune bends. thats not too big of a deal though. i really liked your tone. what gear were you using?

crit me please?

Amazing. Reminds me of my Classic Rock Jam on my myspace. http://www.myspace.com/davidshulerband

crit4crit? Seriously though, I thought I was listening to some 80's rock or something.

since u dont have a thread for it ill say it here.... i liked the riff u had for the classic jam, except when the solo came in it was too loud and kindof threw off the vibe that u had going.

this is really good. how did you record it so well? you definitely could use a band but i like you perfectly fine solo. the guitar was amazing but did sound very classical.

crit mine if you want https://www.ultimate-guitar.com/forum/showthread.php?t=836294

hey thanks! idk i just record my different stuff and add a little reverb here and there and pan it left and right a tiny bit. but maybe i added a little bit too much reverb because some one mentioned it above.

Very cool chord progression... The solo was nice but I think it should have come in earlier. Other than that, this definitely needs drums and bass, methinks. All in all, pretty good.

Hey dude, do you mind returning the crit? The link's there.

I really liked that. It was very chill. Awesome intro section and some tasty riffs, as well as the soulful leads. Probably just repeating everything everyone else has said. Only problem I have is that it cuts out at the end, so I don't get to hear how it ends. Hopefully you can either record the endings again or somehow get the full version up. Either way, I'm impressed.

If you wouldn't mind, do you think you could take a look at one of these:

You don't have to comment on them all, but at least one of them would be great. Thanks!

seriously, get a new memory card and make the full song cuz i want to here it

Just so you know, I'm recording this song using Audacity and will have some drums in the mix available hopefully tomorrow. Nice piece, as I think I stated before.
I got some good guitars, yo.

I like the intro. Progressive and pretty sounding, with a haunting vibe to it. Sounds very Page influenced. Getting a lil' heavier now about 1:30 into the song. I like how the guitars work really well together in that part. Could be mixed a little better, but I like the music itself. Great chord progressions.
The distortion on the guitars could be a bit better IMO, but that's all your taste
Solo was pretty solid. Tone could have been a little smoother, I would personally have used a neck p'up instead of the bridge for a solo like that.

Overall, a great piece. My biggest crit, however, is that it seemed like you were "trying" to be Jimmy Page. Everyone has their influences, but it's also good to put your own heart and soul into the music, instead of thinking "what would .... do?".

Great job overall
