I'm leaving for my high school stage band concert in a little while and just noticed i left my guitar stand at school. Since I'm going to be switching between guitar and trumpet, will my guitar be safe if i leave it behind the amp?

well if no one walks behind the amps i guess its ok. And i doubt someone can steal a guitar on stage.

Or you can just borrow someone elses stand

Oh, I see.

Well, I just let my guitar sit on a chair (the body itself on the seat, the neck jutting out) every time I don't have a stand available. I dunno if you could do that or not.

But I see no problem with it resting on your amp.

I would put it back into the case when you're not using it.
Paul Gilbert
Steve Vai
Joe Satriani
John Petrucci

Thanks for the quick replies. I think that I'll probably set it down behind the amp. It's a jazz band, not a Dillinger Escape Plan show so I guess it should be safe.

have a buddy watch it or if someone else who has a stand there goes to play or whatever put yours on that dudes stand
