Just a quickie, advertised near me is a Fender Blues Junior with a vintage celestion speaker in it as opposed, presumably, to the original. Being an ignoramous on such matters can someone please tell me what difference that speaker may make to the amps tone etc..thanks
To old to fretw**k, to young for the blues!

Depends on the speaker. But those amps didn't ship with Celestion speakers, ever, I don't think. Fender tends to use Jensons, except with the SuperSonic amps.

A lot of players swap the speaker out of a blues jr, the stock speaker is not as good as some of the replacements available for the amp. <-- That's their opinion. Putting in a celestion is a common cure or mistake depending on your opinion of tone. A buddy of mine has a celestion in his Blues Jr and likes the sound. Check it out and see what you think.
I wondered why the frisbee was getting bigger, then it hit me.
