Like i said if you ever see one of these pick it up... And i guess i would be a hypocrite if i didn't follow my own advice lol

So i picked one up Saturday and man i love this amp. Honestly its one of the best amps i have played for modern metal. Very versatile and has enough of the brootals to hang with any thing out there. You can get alot of different sounds out of her. Even the famous 6505 but whats smooth is i can tweak the eq and get a smoother none buzzy version of the 6505 or instant 6505 raw tone. I'm extremely pleased with the purchase...

Now for the pics...

Sweet!
But, i'd much rather have a dual amp setup with my CBB and a cranked AC30.

OH

...took me a second there. Peavey Ultra Plus.

congrats...i've been following your decision making.

does that closet get overheated at all? he he

seriously, do you find you get a better sound with your gear in there or do you simply like to lock the door..........and....i wouldn't blame you.

Yeah, I should stack my combos up and make something like that in MY closet.
Keep it away from my evil sister, who likes to break things :P.
With my CBB on bottom of course. My peavey will definetely survive a nice fall.

Cool man, I've always thought the Ultras were nice amps.

maybe you're not saying the right things? an amp likes to know you care.

Thanks for the compliments everyone...

And yea the closet has a few use's... I can shut the door and dont have to worry about people or kids messing with my stuff. Also it saves me alot of space vs having them outside of the closet in the room itself. Because thats the room is also were i do all my tech work and with a desk and tools if i had the amps and cab out there it would be pretty cramped.

And no overheating there's an a/c vent right infront of the closet.

Aren't they pretty close to the XXX? I'm sure the distortion can get pretty brutal, but its still no 6505. Bright gain vs dark gain are very different.

Although its cool to finally see someone pick one of these up. Can you get some clips up if possible? I've wondered if they really are that close to the XXX and JSX.

how would get all that stuff out of the closet? 0_o

The closet is about two cabs deep and theres about a foot on each side of the cab so i just scoot the cab back angle it slide it to the right and pull it out.. Pretty simple...

Ohhh and im heavily armed so yall dont get any ideas... lol
