hey guys. i just got my Ibanez RG321Mh back from the guitar shop after they installed a Seymour Duncan TB-4 JB bridge and SH-2n Jazz neck. i tried it separately on the shop's Peavey Windsor amp/cab and Laney TTh100 Tube amp head with 4x12 cab. sounds better than the crappy INF pickups it had there. although it lacks the bassy ends i was looking for in a pickup. sounds too harsh for me. too trebly i think.

i'm going to remove the JB and put it in my other guitar. i play jazz, blues, heavy rock & alternative and i've found these two:

1.Seymour Duncan Custom
2.Seymour Duncan Custom 5

i play jazz, blues, heavy rock, alternative.

anyone had any experiences with these pickups?
which would be better in my guitar? thanks.

one question: i've seen the product page at t SD's website and found that it was versatile, like a hotter 59. can the Custom 5 be used for shreds too?

Either the Custom 5, Dimarzio Breed or Norton are probably your best bets...probably the Norton.
