As much as I love Slayer, there are only about ten or so songs (I've listened to all their albums) in which the solo is really good.

Everything else about them are awesome though.

A7X - Almost Easy would be better off without a solo. It doesn't fit at all.

I would like to +1 on that one.

there should be a solo in avenged sevenfold - a little piece of heaven...

I would like to -1 on that one. The song's awesome, and with a solo, I think it'll just kill the story.
I like that bit at 6:25.. "Do you take this man in death for the rest of your unnatural life" that's so cool.

Jailbreak should have had a solo in the studio version (although the live version does) and Washington is next would have been better without the second solo...

Every song is better with solos...in fact, all songs should be exclusively solos and all vocals should be removed.

NO.

Van Halen's "Little Dreamer" could've done without a solo, or at least one that fits more.

I'd say the solo for 'Open your Eyes' by Alter Bridge seems a bit out of place. Mark Tremonti is an amazing guitarist, but his crazy shredding doesn't suit the song.

John's solo is amazing too!

Bulls on Parade. The solo in that song is just annoying and stupid. It doesn't fit.

Tornado of Souls.

You fail. That solo makes the song what it is.

5 Minutes Alone by Pantera could have gone without the solo. I like the song, but that solo is awful. Seriously, knowing how good Dime was, he could have come up with something better. The riffs make that song what it is.
