You always paralyze when you’re caught by surprise
When some masquerade discovers your disguise
You try to run but your legs won’t obey
And your mouth doesn’t open when you’ve got something to say
You gotta run but your mask is on his hand
And everybody’s shaming you didn’t concretize your plan
You start to cry but your tears have their pride they won’t hide they won’t hide

What a great heroine you ended up to be
You wanted to return justice to society
You wanted to have a life like one in those comic books
You wanted to save the world from the bandits and the crooks
But you shouldn’t forget you don’t know how to react
On those hours when the panic and the chaos had attacked
You always became a victim like everyone on the stage
You never had the opportunity to unleash what you call rage

And you lay on your bed and you cry because you realize
The dreams that you had will never come true
You rip all the posters from the heroes of your past
And you think you’ll never detach from everyone

But smile! Being common feels so fine
At least you’re not decadent like the porno actress who’s addicted
To the drugs and the fame in a Hollywood flick
Who’s trying
Fighting
Fighting for a place in the red carpet
Fighting against the demons that she has within
Fight for the things that you think you deserve to have

You were walking in the street feeling like you were equal
You were walking on the wire on this critical stage of life
Everyone else knew the failure that you were
Everyone thought they could mark what you don’t deserve
But you stood your ground and you recovered all your dreams
And you promised to yourself to never regret what you did
And you followed your path even though the soil was rocky

You never achieved what you wanted but at least you have fought
For your dreams that’s a thing that many people do not
But it’s not enough to detach you from the world
You will always be a girl like so many other girls
And you dream every night with how it would be
And you imagine in dreams a parallel reality
How would it be if you were an idol of the youth?
How would it be if this was actually the truth?

But it’s not and you’re sad cause everything that you wanted to have
Will end up to never concretize
Your plan, your brilliant masterplan, the plan that you have planned
To follow your entire life

If everyone would tell you to forget all your dreams
Would you follow that advice and forget everything?
Or would you fight every single second of your life
For the things that you had always desired?
You will never be the sheep that always follows the crowd
You will always be the queen who will not wear her crown
Keep acting that way
Be always who you really are!

Sounded a little bit like an Atreyu song.
Desperate Times, Desperate Measures.

Thank you for your comments.

Just wanted to thank to ZanasCross for making me read the rules, I had no idea of the limits.

Nothing further to say
