are you INSANE? Lopez leaving? Lindgren leaving? Mendez cutting his hair? (ok, that last ones not as bad by comparison )
not to mention that the replacements just dont have the style of their predecessors.

i know Mendez is still there, but with his hair cut, pics of the band look like Mikael and 4 strangers

Can't choose a favourite band, but this would be one of them...

Black Flag

Best: A lot of people argue with me on this one, but I think the best thing they ever did was move onto a more interesting, less straightforward hardcore sound after Rollins joined. I love how they'd open up shows on their '84 tour with "The Process Of Weeding Out", in an attempt to get the closed-minded "punk rawk" kids to leave.

Worst: Well, I guess breaking up would be the obvious answer, but who knows, maybe that was for the best. Maybe their next album would've been awful. So I guess if I had to choose something other than that, it'd be getting into legal troubles after the release of "Damaged" and not being able to release another full-length album until two years later.

Lindgren wasn't enjoying the music anymore, that's not a bad thing if he wanted to leave.

And, Axe >>> Lopez.

The Watershed leak explains this.

honestly, i muuuuuuuuuuch prefer Lopez's style. tho i've only heard the Porcelain Heart. his drumming pissed me off on that song tbh. awesome drummer, but he doesnt have Lopez's style.

i WILL hold off until i hear all of Watershed, but still... *skeptical*

Trust me, when you hear his playing on Heir Apparent and Burden (for heavy and smooth drumming, respectively), you'll change that opinon .

And, he has an absolutely immense jazzy section in the Lotus Eater.

The album doesn't have that many growls, he only growls on three songs, but when they do come up, they're great.

And, the album, is overall my favorite next to Morningrise and My Arms, Your Hearse.

Def Leppard

Best Thing: All of their success with their albums like Pyromania and Hysteria
Worst Thing: (Haha, where to start?) Rick Allen losing his arm and Steve Clark dying of alcoholism.

This band went through it all and I don't think any other band has had as many hardships as they have and still managed to come out on top and stick through it together.
